The fevers of Saturday night 🤒 NOSTR ⚡ & BTC 🚀 Last night, chatting with the AI, I discovered this thing about using OP_RETURN as a "container" for NOSTR events. I am favorable to a cross-use of BTC, I have always supported (and dreamed) that the BTC technology could expand beyond its original purpose (=money). I believe that even Satoshi had this desire. What we have to be careful about, in my opinion, is to avoid as much as possible operations that could, in the future, push toward centralization. It is really difficult to predict what turn some choices will take, so, if we really want to lean NOSTR on BTC, we should do it with the maximum caution. I don't have the "titles" to support deep discussions, but I am very curious about this debate and completely captured by the decentralization and distribution of NOSTR and BTC. I wonder if anchoring NOSTR to the blockchain is too risky... #Bitcoin #NOSTR

What really matters… is the label, but not the fashion kind 😎 I never cared for brands, but Bitcoin made me fall in love with labeling. ✅ Label every transaction, in, out, and especially your change UTXOs. It keeps your on-chain (and lightning) history clean and traceable. Most wallets let you export labels, do it monthly, back them up. Otherwise, if you change wallet or device, you might lose them. Stay organized 🗃️ And if you’re feeling fancy, use OP-RETURN for an immutable and ultra public record… ...just don’t annoy the Spam War purists 🤣 Bitcoin proves it: sometimes, the label does matter. 🧡

I always enjoy grabbing a few satoshis at ATH. I firmly believe in DCA, sometimes we’re doubtful about when to buy Bitcoin, and we feel bad if, right after the trade, the price drops. Like every trader dreams, we’d all love to buy at the bottom and sell at the top. But the magic of Bitcoin is this: it makes short-term fluctuations irrelevant. Okay, I bought at ATH? The recent Gaza protests in Italy struck a chord with me. The scenes from Palestine are brutal. Young people, flooded with real-time global news, are angry and they have every right to be. Their anger is sacred. Their fight for peace is pure. But I can’t stand how our sterile, toxic political forces exploit it. Meanwhile, wars rage on in Ukraine, Congo, and Haiti, destroying lives we can’t ignore. I remember my studies in anarchism and its core values. The non-aggression principle and mutual aid, what Kropotkin called mutual support, alone could wipe out many wars and injustices. We’re here on NOSTR because we believe in open-source thinking and aren’t scared of proof of work. Whether it’s marching in the streets, sailing to Gaza, running a Bitcoin node or a NOSTR relay, or building open-source software, I admire anyone who fights for freedom, peace, and justice. And honestly, I wish politicians would just mind their own damn business. There’s no other way. To know and study the greats of the past. Don't trust, verify.
