Amazing progress is being made in Anambra State, #Nigeria thanks to the leadership of the team at Bitcoin Anambra which is building the #Bitcoin circular economy throughout the state. We’ll get them onto #Nostr soon (see our previous notes on Nostr). They are focusing early energies on vendors and shoppers at Onitsha Market, which is one of the largest markets in all of west Africa (look it up)! Today is a big day as the Bitcoin Anambra team is an active partner for #OnitshaFashionFest. They are supporting local merchants, supporting local fashion designers AND advancing Bitcoin adoption/use by providing a discount for all purchases made with #BTC. This is true community development and socio-economic empowerment, from the grassroots up!
