Okay, so this retarded woman (in the movie) is watching a letter from Santa magically write itself in her hands and it is literally telling her that her boyfriend should be Nick. Her reaction to this universe-warping otherwordly message from a higher power is to throw it away and NOT immediately contact Nick. This is where I left.
