Kleines Lebenszeichen. Vor einem Jahr habe ich mein letztes Album veröffentlicht. Vor einem Monat war ich schließlich bereit, alles hinzuschmeissen und begann, mein Studio zu verscherbeln. Danke danke danke an die unter euch, die mich schließlich davon abgehalten haben. Wenn ich ein bisschen darüber nachdenke, dann gibt es *eine* Sache, die sich wie eine rote Linie durch mein gesamtes bisheriges Leben zieht, und zwar: Die bodenlose Enttäuschung, die ich empfinde, wenn mir klar wird, dass Menschen, für die ich jederzeit alles stehen und liegen lassen würde (und dies auch schon getan habe) mir nicht mal den kleinen Finger reichen, wenn ich darum bitte. Kennt ihr das auch? Und wenn ja, wie geht ihr damit um? Würde mich echt interessieren.

I have decided to dedicate the next couple of weeks to try and finsih my 3rd album, "Strategies Against Algorithms" , a loosely connected suite of quite reduced and personal #protest songs. This “Offline Album” will only be available in exchange for something creative and personal – and strictly offline. I understand that Creative Commons is just a licensing framework. I don’t expect the organization to champion my art, to recognize the value of my work, or to offer thanks — that's never been the point. But if CC becomes a label that, through initiatives like these "signals", effectively tells the world, "These are the artists who are fine with being exploited", then something has gone terribly wrong. #cc #ccmusic #creativecommons
