If the UK is imprisoning people over tweets, I’m totally OK with Putin invading England. I mean, if it’s already a failed state attacking its own citizens, it might as well be invaded by someone we can go to war with. Hard to go to war with England now to free its subjects.

Anyone going to cheatcode? I’m trying to find a spring 2026 conference to go to.
It’s not clear to me how the cumulative notional value for strategy‘s preferred offerings add up to $14.7B…I get about $58B (8+11+12+13+14)…same for converts…even non-cumulative notional converts is wrong…the 1 in $8.214 is clearly wrong…
I don’t understand the table…

Maybe bitcoin is the solution to the us federal government debt. And maybe governmental debt everywhere.
Think about it. Suppose you were allowed to tax everyone in the US every time they sold something for more than they bought it for and suppose bitcoin becomes equal in value to all money…you’ll eventually be able to tax all of money as it will all be capital gain along the way…and the more frequently people buy and sell, the larger the fraction of value you get to extract by taxation (just imagine selling all of your bitcoin every time the price went up 10x since 2010 -and immediately rebuying -…you’d pay a tax on your 9:1 gain 6 times…you’d have only 18% of your original stack left if tax rate was 25% (0.75^6=0.18).
Nostr is a much healthier place to be.
