Such a strange world, being ashamed of being white is a real thing at the moment. πŸ˜‰ image
This tiiime, I’m talking to Christopher Hill, founder of three award winning brands and pioneer of luxury volunteer travel. We talk about, why traveling can be so transformative, and why it just makes sense to get your kids out there to make them experience the full scope of live! Christopher’s brands, Hands Up Holidays and Impact Destinations, blend luxury travel with purposeful service projects – means: families can actively contribute to impactful projects, like building homes, helping wildlife rescue centers, and even assisting in rhino relocations during safaris. How do you talk to yourself? I just realized, I talk to myself not in the most friendly way. Woke up this night, feeling shit as fuck, feeling sick, haven't been sick in a while so that's fine. This morning my thought carrussel went like this: oh my god you can't walk the dogs, they will have like this pinned up energy and the big one will go crazy and bite someone one day, who the fuck is caring for the kid, poor thing will be at home all day doing WHAT, fucking shit who is taking care of the grocery list, fucking work, fucking need to call my grandma hopefully she doesn't hear I'm sick otherwise she will have a heart attack, fucking shit laundry, fucking where is the cat, and so on, even showing up in work meetings. Not oneeee single second I thought "oh ok, seems to be a day in bed, alrighty then", because it's not alrighty then when you're a single parent caring for it all. BUT. My tone of voice could have been much nicer, because I would not talk to my single mum friends like this when they're sick. Will practise gentle talk with myself from now on. Be kind to yourself β™₯️ image
At the Bitcoin Atlantis Conference in Madeira, I met a fantastic Bitcoiner - Rick, who has a little kid and is now diving deep into the world of decentralized education. We had an awesome talk at the conference about how decentralized education aligns with the principles of unschooling and Bitcoin. Rick's enthusiasm and insights were truly inspiring, and we both felt that sharing our conversation with other unschoolers could ignite some incredible ideas and transformations in the education world. So here we go! ❀️ image
