How It Works: Token Format: BB-NONCE-AMOUNT-EXPIRY-SIGNATURE Each voucher is a self-contained cryptographic token that: ✅ Verifiable without database lookup - signature validation only needs the public key ✅ Unforgeable - Ed25519 signatures can only be created with the private key ✅ Double-spend protected - redemption registry prevents reuse ✅ Has built-in expiry - 12 months from issue, encoded in the token itself Change Tokens If your voucher is worth more than the booking, you automatically get a change token for the remaining balance. Just like getting change back from cash! Example: Buy $50 voucher → Book $30 consultation → Get $20 change token emailed The Flow: Purchase butler consultation time from the Master Concierge Webhook triggers token generation Cryptographically signed token emailed to you Paste token when booking → credit applied instantly If FREE, booking confirmed immediately (no payment step) Why This Approach? We want no client accounts or data, to the extent possible (if shipping something to them, they are advised to use a P.O box, we will take Coinkites approach and delete all possible data every 90 days) Privacy-preserving - tokens can be transferred without our involvement No central balance tracking - the token IS the value Offline-capable verification - signature math, not database calls Bitcoin ethos - bearer instruments, cryptographic proof Built for Bitcoin self-custody consultations by Bitcoiners, not just white-labelling fiat tools and maximizing fiat revenue or focusing on fiat metrics like SEO > Self-custody education.
