Two weeks ago I read that a negative thought can linger in our minds for up to 24 hours, while a positive one lasts only about 8 - and so aiming for a 3:1 minimum ratio helps rewire. Sort of the grounds of meditation, but numerically. Since then, a friend and I have been sharing our three positives of the day almost every night, whether big or small.
