For one, the latest announcement at FOSDEM from DeepComputing for their next release of a mainboard for the Framework 13, looks pretty great.
Sounds like they're going to be able to move quickly and have a new release every six months with better hardware.
Development has been growing steady with several different development boards (from SiFive and others) and the ratification of the RVA23 profile for general purpose use should be important for software development and support.
