I don't know much about wifi and such, and your might very well be right... but in end 00s beginning 10s, there was a societal shift in Sweden around the perception of ADHD, supposedly triggered by the approval of prescription of metylfenidat to children. Which led to an huge spike in people actually trying to diagnose (and help) their children. Is this help any good? I don't know. Does is dismantel your theory? No idea. But if you have some papers on subject, I'd love to read them.
