Freedom of speech is a double edged sword. X is by far the worst place on the internet. If Nostr was as widespread, I would not use uncensored clients. Call me a pussy, but I don’t want to see children raped and men beheaded, in exchange for being forced to argue with half retarded schizos… why tf would I want that? People DO NOT WANT an uncensored environment at all, unless it’s for ulterior motives. I spend more time on TikTok than any other platform. It doesn’t suck my soul like X or even Nostr.

Man, that will not work at all at scale. We will be spammed with child porn. Pedophiles WILL adopt Nostr and run their own relays. We’ve opened Pandora’s box here. One step short of the dark web. Innocent people should not go on an uncensored internet. Do you remember who you were before you watched a human die on video? That shit killed me. Nostr desperately needs censorship. The fact you can encounter CSAM on here that has been here for months or years is unacceptable. And I’m not talking about like some teenager shit, I’m talking about full blown 10+ minute videos of actual prepubescent children being raped. We shouldn’t just chase free speech just for the sake of free speech. We need to be measured. We must be corporate. All human communication is censored by identity. After losing that to pseudonymization, we must restore balance another way.
