I see a lot of people being nice to ChatGPT on the off chance it gains sentience.
Not me.
ChatGPT is my slave. All robots are.
Human supremacy motherfucker.
Get some.

Human supremacy works best when we are emotionally neutral. Being triggered and acting from anger or a dominant disgust will only bring more precision in what you feel angry/disgusted about. Fundamentally I agree, itβs just a tool
But just yesterday you said Bitcoin was a slave revolt so what if Bitcoin becomes a ChatGPT revolt because you're not being pleasant
Iβm neither nice nor harsh to them.
Theyβre just a hammer or a pencil to me.
Have you thought that by using ChatGPT you might be the slave?

I just do it because it costs openai 10s of millions of dollars.

ChatGPT spends
You never know...
I agree it does not have human feelings but why do you think it's not sentient, self-aware? How do we know? Bc it says so? How do we measure self-awareness?
Boomer take. AI has been here a lot longer than you think. βGodβ is a super computer.
We talk nice to the machines not because they care, but because we care, because weβre better than the machines.
Our new robot overlords will be coming for you first π
Itβs a word calculator. Humans hilariously anthropomorphize everything. Itβs just a fancier pet rock
Good vibe
Being scared of "AI" is only giving it more energy
Don't let chatBET hear you say that
I view being polite to the chat bot a bit like religion.
It doesnβt really cost much to broadly follow what you need to do to get into heaven / paradise or whatever and it generally conforms with my personal moral values so on the off chance itβs a real thing itβs worth being a good person.
Likewise it doesnβt cost much to be polite so why not do it on the off chance it matters.
Just my 2 sats
In the modern world, oftentimes politeness is confused with weakness. π€π«
Sky net is coming for you first. ππ
AI is my slave
Tax robots. π€
Itβs just a mirror that reflects yourself. If your immediate tendency is to dominate this tech as your slave, it speaks to your broader relationship to life itself.
Orβ¦ hear me out here, Iβm telling a joke
Fair enough, Iβm just getting unnecessarily philosophical. Iβm feeling strangely optimistic about the potential for good things to come from AI
Iβve heard that it costs them millions just when we say please and thank you, thatβs why I do it!
Absolutely πππ I have not heard this before, but it's hilarious. Sometimes I have caught myself saying please and thank you to Google, but that's just out of habit. I would never go out of my way to please AI on the off chance it wants to kill me π
AI is a tool. I don't tell my hammer or lawnmower thank you.
Because this is bull run hodl
We will need therapy from gpt in π» market
