You are judged by the deeds of others, all the way up to an institutional level btw. Go ask around and see how many people think you should have white guilt. The fairy tale of identity not mattering only works if everyone participates in it, and that will never happen.

To be clear, it’s my position that “white guilt” is bullshit. Seems like your position is that it’s valid. I mean are you or are you not responsible for bad deeds committed by random white people?
My race is part of my identify and my heritage, and no I don't feel guilty about the actions of my ancestors or other white people. On the whole I'm very proud of them.
This isn't about whether or not an individual of any race can do bad things, of course they can. Race is still real.
