My laptop is old and slow. Apps like Cardo or Kasts might run too slowly, and since I needed a basic app to listen to podcasts, I decided to get an app that works on the Linux console to simply listen to podcasts by syncing with my Android (AntennaPod) and the PC I use at the office with Windows (Cardo).
The script is in Python and plays the audio using mpv.
I used nextcloud-gpodder thanks to nch.pl, but lately their server has had problems.
Fortunately, I found Sintoniza (
) and migrated my subscriptions. But I had to make several changes to make it compatible with opodsync.
Anyway, I'm leaving it here in case anyone finds it useful.
