It’s open source so anyone can build their own, but Wavman is only pulling in Wavlake hosted tracks. Comment option when you zap.

So my friends band could host their new album on Wavlake and it would appear in wavman and people could zap them ?

If we get to a point where relays can host files, we can move closer to censorship resistant music streaming #[5]

Will it ever happen, that relays store files? I don't think so, am I right?

#[5] perhaps you could also support pointing to magnet links or IPFS hashes🤔

How do I use it?!

You just use the arrows to choose menu items at the bottom of the “screen”. Then you activate a menu item by clicking on the “round” button in the center. I have not come across one of your songs yet. Check out the “what is this” page: it explains how songs are selected 🤷‍♂️🫂

Nice! Have you seen my plugin to share Now Playing info from AzuraCast to nostr yet #[5]? https://github.com/patrickulrich/azuracast-nostr-bot I needed a way to share what podcast was playing on goodmorningbitcoin.com so I spun up #[7] with that bot.

The artists have uploaded their tracks to Wavlake, where they have a lightning wallet. Wavlake publishes tracks and meta data to our relay and Wavman grabs it.

You’re on desktop? Make sure you have a Nostr account connected to the Alby account you’re logged into.

By connected do you mean set up the login from Alby?

Sort of.. it’s essentially Wavlake mobile now.
