There is one worrying trend in the world, men donβt treat their words as a contract any longer. This is problematic, and I mainly observe it from americas. If your word worth nothing, you are not a man of your word, or a man! Keep word or die, thatβs the core of society and path to prosperity!

My Dad taught me if Iβm anything in life, itβs to be a man of my word. His father thought the same. I will pass that down to my children as well. I think it may just come down to family values or a strong father figure.
Donβt be a pussy if you have a dick! Itβs hard (pun intended) but itβs worth it! If you have a word, keep a word! ππ€£π

I'm now imagining this in thick japanese accent, spoken by an old man, preferably in front of his old dojo or on top of a mountain.
Sorry to disappoint, no Japanese accent here ππ€£π
Alright, chinese works!
Still far away from that ππ€£π
Dammit, alright, old India it is!
Fuck, all misses and not even close. Just have your imagination to yourself ππ€£π

I agree 100%, if you canβt stand up and live by the words you speak, you canβt be trusted and shouldnβt be trusted. Because if I donβt act on what I say then Iβd just be a deceptive person, that is a very ugly thing to be.
We are not all the same but it is the example "public" people show to others. The more you lie and betray the more famous and money you will have.
For some that like "tradition" and old "times". They were sometimes less stupid than we are now :
In venice republic, doges were a kind of "president" but not will all power, and he was hardly regulated :
- no one in a Dogeβs family could hold political office during his term;
- a doge could not conduct any personal business or accept gifts;
- a Doge was always supervised;
- a dogeβs sons could not leave the republic (nor could he without express permission);
- none of a Dogeβs children could marry without the councilβs approval.
After a doge's death, a commission of inquisitori passed judgment upon his acts, and his estate was liable to be fined for any discovered malfeasance. The official income of the doge was never large, and from early times holders of the office remained engaged in trading ventures.
Can you imagine that nowadays ?
All these men that have huge power and responsibilities in their hands, would they be ready to pay for their bad decisions or behavior ?
With this kind of "old" commitments and rules, you can be sure they will be less loud speaker clowns and more true responsible and honest leaders.
