I’m really bullish on the next six months of Nostr development.
I don’t know if it’ll generate user growth in that time period, but I’m more confident that it’ll improve UX and applications, and thus bring in more capital for the next stage, which can then be used for more user acquisition.

I have an idea to help grow users. Testing wednesday. It might work or it might be retarded.
We already won, the rest just don't know it yet
thousand million percent
Agree Nostr needs more funding sources to support developers.
What do you think are the key milestones to watch out for over the next six months?
This is the way!!
I’m excited about Nostr’s potential too. Improving UX and applications is a great step forward. Even if user growth takes a bit longer, these enhancements will definitely help attract more investment and set the stage for future expansion. Looking forward to seeing how it all goes.
Anything specific you expect to happen in the next six months that gives you this optimism?
Who wants the unwashed masses? They ruin everything
I see it getting better every day! The thing is to retain the users and that’ll come when better and more diverse content.
Would be a good idea if someone d with the skills could write a “Dummies how to” on practical Nostr usage
As a new-ish developer i always wondered how to get into open source, nostr looks like an easy way into it, helping others also helps yourself becoming a better dev.
Remind me what's your GitHub?
nostr needs scheduled notifications to check Lyns prediction in 6 months )
why someone give money if nostr don't generate user growth. i'm sceptical about this timeframe
I haven't personally contributed directly to the technical development to the Nostr protocol however I am committed to it's success.
There's over 270 pull requests on the Nostr GitHub repository and I was poking around in there yesterday just to learn more about how it all works. I had a thought about how there is a bounty out for recreating GitHub on the Nostr Protocol and it got me thinking about "Zaps" and how to revolutionize the incentive structure of open source software development by directly funding contributions to the source code through tipping sats directly to nsec wallet addresses of those contributors.
The amount of potential this creates is difficult for most people to even conceptualize.
Onward. Stay humble, Stack Sats!
Nostr feature is also its biggest liability. If you tend to be fast, loose and impulsive with the keyboard like me. A undo feature would be really really nice to have.
If I was a veteran blogger or anything like that I would start putting up my videos on nostr just because of the financial incentives. If I was starting out I would do the same. You can only benefit?
