An Illinois based company, with “the blessing and backing” of Bill Gates is making butter from carbon and hydrogen. According to the company it tastes and smells like the butter we know but minus the fertilisers and emissions tied to the typical process. What could possibly go wrong? ☺️

It's NOT butter.
margerine 2.0
We are all excited about this! 😁
As if margarine wasnt bad enough
The hell of it is that Mother Nature has all this stuff figured out, but basically good old mom is not a capitalist and gives away everything for free. There’s no money to be made with her business model so the capitalists have to try to sell us shit we don’t need to fund their lifestyles while bankrupting ours.
You can say that again! In addition to this Gates and crew want to get rid of the "useless eaters". Two birds, one stone.
Mother nature gives nothing away for free, it requires massive amounts of work to get anything, it's known as farming.
True. There is work needed to reap the rewards many times, but the solutions are figured out already and free to anyone who wants the solution. In terms of health related things, I’m constantly amazed by Mother Nature’s solutions that work with our bodies rather than against in most cases. My most recent thing was dandelion root extract for a variety of things including some cancers. One study I was reviewing last week on PubMed reported in their testing that cancer cells were dying within 48 hours of exposure to dandelion root extract while non-cancerous cells were unaffected. Pretty cool if you ask me, and not something that can make a ton of money for the medical establishment so I don’t think they’ll be terribly interested in taking the simple, inexpensive route when a complex, expensive route can be had.
Pretty sure the Germans tried this during the Second World War. Butter from coal…
I'm guessing their experiment didn't go according to plan

This plus a covid booster 😜

Omg take my money 💰 lol 😆
I am glad someone has the courage to address the butter crisis. There's a lot of dry toast in the world.
