Monero tards will tell you bitcoin is dangerous because it has no privacy and that monero is superior money. They swear that monero is going to win in the long run. They also act like the instant you receive sats, your whole identity (e.g. full name, address, and ssn) is linked to it. But they will also set up a lightning wallet to get zaps. Makes sense. Actions speak louder than words and their conviction in monero really shows. Monero bros are LARPs that can HFSP.

Not sure who you’re talking about but my freedom has been trending up since learning about bitcoin πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ The largest expense an ordinary person will pay is their rent. And you can’t pay your rent in monero. You have to convert to dollars. Just like with bitcoin. So why not convert the best money that gives you the most power? Or do what your fellow monero brainlets do. Stack sats then convert to monero then convert to dollars. If that’s what helps you sleep at night. But stop encouraging hard working ordinary people to stay poor with your little shitcoin.
Bingo. This is the answer I was looking for. Thanks for proving how much of a LARP you are. You probably have a fiat bank account too. So you convert monero to fiat and then spend that way. When you could just convert bitcoin to fiat instead. Or convert bitcoin to monero and then convert that to fiat if that helps you sleep at night. But all you’ve accomplished is lowered your purchasing power. That is fucking retarded.
So I open a lightning channel with a local farmer. I buy things from their farm. I sell them things produced on my property. We have an open lightning channel we use to settle any difference any given day. We transact in person over our open lightning channel. There hasn't been an on chain tx in years so no chainalysis. How are BIS going to find and stop us? This isn't a hypothetical, it is true about me today. This fear is from LARPers who never really used their coin and don't understand the process. The rest of us know we can't be stopped and just carry on. Oh no, my coins will get blacklisted. IDGAF. The people I'm spending them to and getting paid by are also stuck with a bunch of blacklisted coins in that case. Might as well keep using them between us and ignore the law, same as we are doing now. "Oh no, some of my bitcoin *might* get blacklisted. I better sell it all for a shitcoin whose entire chain is already blacklisted" how are we the retards again?
wrong. fyi i'm a bit of an expert on ecash. sort of. you can make as many copies of an ecash token offline as you want. but handing someone a copy is not exactly "transfer". to transfer ecash tokens they need to be redeemed at the mint and new one issued where the recipient is the only one that knows the secret. (let's ignore scripted tokens for now!) that's why i said it's not really a bearer asset in the traditional sense. the mint is an online trusted intermediary that can refuse to participate. then there is credit ecash, that overall dodge the entire "does the mint have the coin?" stuff.
Whose ethos? Sure famous bitcoin influencers are gonna boot lick for NGU. That's not me. Famous Monero influencers are all wifu pillow having incels. Is that you? Reversed stupidity is not intelligence. By avoiding bitcoin because a few stupid people like it you've declared the sky is green because an idiot you know said it is blue. That doesn't make you smart, it makes you wrong and a disagreeable jerk.
