This is true, but a couple dozen Cashu mints that require no authentication or KYC already exist:

NWC is only used by Alby AFAIK. The only reason to favor Cashu is the current ecosystem that supports instant anonymous wallets.

I’m writing a plugin for BTCPay Server to support NWC, I use it on my own server at the moment. Would be good if others supported it too.
