I'd say it makes more sense and likelihood that one place with a portable as they are on a long travel ride, I can two hour or more ride on a plane or train.
If it's a short trip and I don't think it'd be worth it imo / you wouldn't get the feel for it.
Long travel by plane or train is a must for me. I talk more during lunch time or iddle time during working hours.
