What a fractal of a hell thread. It's like the same conversation everywhere. You making great logical and consistent arguments.
Them making illogical, inconsistent emotional arguments.
Somehow the conversation persists.

I would much rather shut up about it, but I feel like no one else is really stepping up. A lot of NGU techs brushing it off to the side. The OP_RETURN limit is a feature not a bug. OP codes are literally known to cause bugs. Satoshi set the return to false before getting spooked by Gavin Anderson one of the devs who helped revive OP_RETURN from the dead. If this isnβt attack on Bitcoin what is?
Hey, I am right there with you. I just can't help the feeling that this is like that moment in the Dark Knight where the Joker is hanging upside down and says "I think you and I are destined to do this forever."
Freedom and sovereignty makes us not driven to take their ability to be shitcoiners.
But they will never stop as long as there's a vector for attack. Good and Evil, fighting forever.
Itβs a good analogy because in reality they need us and we do not need them. The only reason they want this is so that we help pass around their spam.
Think of it like this there are kids passing around notes in the classroom of dick pics (like Jonah Hill was drawing in Superbad) if a majority of the class is unwilling to pass the dick pic around then less people (nodes) see it. Reducing the chances of it capturing the collectives brainspace (the network) they will only be able to pass the note to people in reach (Mara and Luxor) and will only be published when they find a block instead of when ever any miner finds a block.
