I went to buy chapstick last night. Total was $2.67. I handed them a $5 bill. Change was $2.30. 1.3% of my change was missing, gone, kept, retained, rounded, aka stolen. I chose to pay in cash, and I the customer was punished for doing so.

I’ve started seeing signs up at stores, recently, on the rounding. I live in a part of the US where there are still cash only businesses or a lot charge 3-5% to use credit/debit. Bitcoin can fix this. Hoping the square merchants gain traction. I just turned it on for our HS concession stands.
