⚡️💬 NEWS - Does Bitcoin's 4-year cycle still exist?
That's the big question many analysts are asking....
Historically, Bitcoin moves in four-year cycles where it soars about a year after halving, before its price collapses and a BearMarket phase follows.
But some experts believe that this cycle could be different with the arrival of a new type of investor - ETFs.
Last year, Bitcoin achieved an unprecedented performance by reaching a new ATH BEFORE halving, following the approval of Spot Bitcoin ETFs.
This led some analysts and observers to believe that Bitcoin's usual cycle might be over.
"At the same time, long-term holders realized profit levels comparable to past euphoric phases, reinforcing the impression of an end-of-cycle market," the report points out.
"Every time we think: "This time it's different", it seems the market corrects us and shows us that this time it will be exactly the same"
says Nick Hansen, CEO of Bitcoin mining company Luxor.
