A while ago (February… which is forever ago in Nostr years) #[2] was complaining that Nostr was painfully slow in Africa at the time if I recall correctly. I wonder if things improved since?
Not really. Am back in Europe and the experience is much better here.
Low bandwith optimized nostr clients would help with onboarding places with spotty internet connection.
My experience with slow/unreliable connection and Damus is not great too. There is no indication that something didn't load, nor that it's loading or not. Not a great experience for sure.
