@Walla image Cats are adventurous creatures that don't really think about the boundaries that humans created. They go where they want and when they want - but it turns out that these habits can cost their owners dearly. This is exactly the case of Dominique, a resident of the Artois region in southern France, who found out the hard way that her neighbor was fed up with her cat's gypsy lifestyle. The neighbor, whose name was not published, filed an official complaint against the cat "Remy" claiming that it constantly intrudes on his property. The damages, as listed in the complaint: paw prints on the wall, urine on the couch, and poop in the garden. According to local reports, in the last January, the court ruled in favor of the neighbor and fined Dominique 1,250 euros (approximately 5,200 shekels), plus a warning that she will receive additional fines if the cat crosses the fence again. "When I received the notice of the conviction, it was as if I got hit in the head", Dominique, 70, told the French newspaper Le Parisien. "Since the verdict, I've been keeping Remy inside the house."
