All those early bulbs come through almost regardless of what the weather is doing , snowdrops, crocus and those early irises. However that has not stopped the deer this year here eating all the daffodils heads that are coming through surprisingly early.. the poncy bastards.
You do get some coming up in spring but you tend to get most of them in the autumn you might find some on logs still. The autumn flush can go on for quite a while if you don't have a frost though in 2006-7ish its was so mild we didn't get a frost till January so we went mushroom picking on new years eve 😁
