my mistake. you're right. you're said "vibes". that parts on me. not outraged. just bored of this topic. core 30 is out, nothing changed, both sides over-exaggerated, yet some people tie up so much of their identity into being disagreeable and "fighting the man" they can't let it rest. on node count - bitcoin is not a democracy. all nodes aren't equal votes. the nodes that receive and validate the majority of the coins (economic majority) define what bitcoin is. just running a node without producing value doesn't mean anything. if it did someone could just spin up 100,000 nodes on AWS and take over the network. thankfully bitcoin is smarter than that. this is a good thing. its never been about the money, but the wealth humans create and what they are willing to trade that wealth for. i like @gsovereignty's video on the matter
