We do not work with cacao powder. That is a whole different product, one we would say is deficient of the health benefits of pure cacao. This cacao has been lab tested and recorded as having over a 50% fat content. In order to have cacoA powder, those fats have to be extracted out in order for the powder to keep its consistency as powder. However, a lot of the health benefits of cacao are held in these fats, so a cacoA powder is essentially not the full package. If you want to make your own chocolate bars just melt down the cacao, temper it, and set in your molds. This will give you the highest quality product for yourself and your friends a family. You want the fats!
Or you could just use the cacao fat (otherwise known as cacao manteca (butter)) in its original form? No need to add anything, no need to work with an inferior product. Cacao is perfect like most things in its original form. We would be delighted to help you with your adventures into making high grade chocolate bars.
