Briar has this option. Probably one could copy some part from there.
If you grab an app via F-Droid, you can then share it wirelessly with another. Not sure if it requires WiFi or not. Most apps on Android require WiFi for that to function,.
That said, the new Pixel 10 comes with airdrop feature, and they are bringing it to Pixel 9 updates.
Then again, Google Pixels have now closed source much of the code, so who knows if that feature will come to DeGoogled phones.
