A big part of all the existing websites could easily be reframed as relays, i.e. just curated repositories of blobs of "data" (articles, photos, calendar events etc) in the form of Nostr events.
Then people could use the clients they prefer to browse the content of each website in any way they wanted, with no HTML or browsers needed.
A simple way to understand relays is as websites, but it depends on the client how you view them.
