Success is alignment, that is knowable now, the future is the potential, that is unpredictable. Prediction is to know what will be written, before it is written. You would not want to be the first in line for death. So in that context, prediction is the claim that you already know what will be written, before it’s written. A future that’s already written isn’t a future at all. You wouldn’t want to be first in line for that.
