13 years in #Bitcoin and I have never wanted to sell at least some as much as right now. Not because of a crash. But because nothing is happening. Everyone knows "Price Capitulation." But almost nobody talks about "Time Capitulation." Why boredom is the real final boss. [1/8]

Price Capitulation: This is easy for OGs. Mt. Gox, 2018 Bear, Covid Crash. Price goes down fast. You feel fear. But as a veteran, you just turn off the screen and HODL. You go into "survival mode." Us hodlers know how to cope with pain. [2/8]
Time Capitulation: This is different. This is what is happening now. Price goes sideways for months. The "Crab Market." π¦ You donβt feel fear. You feel boredom and frustration. It is a slow death by a thousand cuts. [3/8]
The mind games are brutal right now: Stocks are pumping. Gold is pumping. Heck literally all asset classes are flying. Bitcoin? It just sits there. You start thinking: "Is this dead money? Should I move it?" That is exactly what the market wants you to think. [4/8]
Price Capitulation tests your conviction. Time Capitulation tests your patience. It is much harder to hold an asset that does nothing while the world gets rich, than an asset that crashes 50%. FOMO is a stronger emotion than fear. [5/8]
But keep this in mind: If you sell your BTC now to chase what is already hot (Stocks/Gold), you lose twice.
You sell the bottom of the boredom.
You buy the top of the hype. Don't rotate into the pump. Sit on your hands. [6/8]
If you have been here for 10+ years and you want to sell out of boredom... That is usually the biggest signal that the wait is almost over. The market tries to shake off the last believers before the move. Don't let the boredom win. [7/8]
Now that I realize it is just a mind game, the urge is gone. And this, ladies and gentlemen, is why I will NOT sell. I will HODL. I will stay long and strong. π[8/8]
