We should have mandatory Internet outage times every month, like Tornado drills but for exposing bad IoT devices and software phoning home.
Seeing reports that Iran has an Internet blackout, and possibly US or other countries are jamming GPS... Turns some of my own interest in mesh networks, radio, P2P self-hosted stuff, and anti-jamming PNT solutions a little less academic :/

What I wanted YouTube to do with AI: make it so I don't have to delete 50 obvious spam comments on all my videos. What I didn't want: suggest replies to spam comments that further clutter admin UIs image
The thing I hate most about AI, in the current era: Google, DDG, Bing, etc. are all now effectively worthless on the first 2-3 pages, for most of my queries having to do with *anything* general. Even specific queries like 'smart outlet energy consumption card HA'. The problem is AI slop; there are thousands of websites (even some old venerable sites that were sold off) that just have "that exact query as a web page", but the results are AI generated, and have no helpful information inside.
