So did we expect the government to only buy Bitcoin? I've never known the government to make good asset allocation choices. It's very own point for them to waste money on shitcoins.
On May 29th 2015 Ross Ulbricht was sentenced to 2 life sentences plus 40 years with no chance of parole for founding a dark web marketplace for people to freely trade drugs with a rating system to insure safe supply. The only money you could use on it was Bitcoin. When he was sentenced 1 Bitcoin was worth $237. Today he received a presidential pardon and Bitcoin is worth $105,800 and some people still think the only use case for Bitcoin is criminal activity 😂
