Part of my "counter argument" when people think I'm heartless and inhumane for wanting to deport illegal immigrants - when the "umm, they came into the country illegally" argument falls flat - is to go to the more extreme case along the lines of...
OK, let's say the earth was created without borders. Let's remove those imaginary NATIONAL borders and allow for STATE borders to exist or even realign based upon common goals/ideology or other affinities..
But then we must remove ALL taxes other than the basic State/Local ones for infrastructure and defense. I would also encourage keeping social services for truly taking care of widows/orphans/veterans (and that last group should be dwindling if we stop foreign proxy wars). However, we remove all other social services that act as an enticement for free loaders of ANY nationality.
You either contribute to society or you get put OUT of society. If you go against the rule of law - as defined by local government under term limits - then you will be incarcerated and you will WORK for the BENEFITS of your incarceration (room & board, healthcare etc). Capital offenses are subject to the highest penalties enforceable by law.
Obviously this is a loose strawman at best, but it gives pause to the person shutting down the "umm, illegal, duh" argument. And truly, I want smaller government responsible for small enough constituencies to have true representation.

the same people who flooded the country with illegal intruders to shift the census, electoral college, congressional seat counts, and to taint voter rolls (often using tax dollars to do it) always knew that the day might come when people got fed up and sought to reverse this.
they also know how incredibly difficult this would be, the draconian actions it would require, and how bad this could be made to look.
they were already prebunking this issue before the election. “if the bad guys win, they will round you up and put you in boxcars! it will be fascism! genocide! they will not follow the law!”
