About everyone know the highest mountain in Japan is Fujisan, at 3776m right? But do you KNOW the lowest mountain in Japan? It's Hiyoriyama near Sendai at 3m high! It is officially a mountain, designated by the Ministry of Land and Transportation.

I first saw Kiyohashi-san and Mameichi in Sendai on NHK's Dear Nippon. She run the shop on her creative ideas inspired by the everyday things she experiences translated to the wagashi she creates. I had "Kaze Spirits" and Afiza had the Raijin Natsuyasumi parfait.
