Europe bans neonics after scientific evidence shows them terribly harmful to bees and birds (and bats and amphibians and everything that eats insects), and the birds start a slow recovery years later.
In contrast, Canada's #capturedregulator refuses to ban neonics and there is no #biodiversity bounceback, just more declines. Canada's boreal forest and prairie pothole region are the bird nurseries of North America, and they are polluted.
