The Government is struggling to bring in a Muslim blasphemy law through the backdoor, so instead it’s going to try and do it via the front. The Crown Prosecution Service is seeking to overturn a High Court judge’s judgment acquitting Hamit Coskun last month. Hamit was originally convicted of a religiously aggravated public order offence for burning a copy of the Quran in protest outside the Turkish consulate in London. The judgment in the appeal hearing was a welcome reaffirmation of ancient English liberties. Mr Justice Bennathan said: “The right to freedom of expression, if it is a right worth having, must include the right to express views that offend, shock or disturb.” Now the CPS says it isn’t happy with the judgment. This is hugely significant because the outcome will set legal precedent and will almost certainly be cited in all future cases involving not just Quran burning, but public challenges to Islam in general. The CPS is arguing that what Hamit did was disorderly not because it was blasphemous, but because it was an ‘act of desecration’ that provoked those who see it as blasphemous—namely Muslims—to commit acts of violence. If the Crown wins, it will mean we effectively have a Muslim blasphemy law in the UK. But if Hamit wins, it will be a victory for all of us who believe in freedom of expression and the fundamental liberty to criticise ANY religion. The FSU continues to stand with Hamit. Connor Tomlinson The US State Department has declared mass migration to be a human rights violation, and instructed the British government to protect our people. In a new communique, State Department officals condemned “two-tiered systems that provide disproportionately lenient punishments to migrants for their crimes”. It mentioned the ongoing “organised rape gangs in the United Kingdom”, and instructed Keir Starmer to “positively respond to their citizens’ growing discontent related to unmitigated migration”. The communique said, “We encourage your government to ensure that policies protect your citizens from the negative social impacts of mass migration, including displacement, sexual assault, and the breakdown of law and order.” I have spoken to people in the Trump Administration who care about what is happening to Britain. I'm glad the Trump Administration are applying pressure on our government, because they are unwilling to protect our people without it. It's good that Trump hasn't fallen for the lies that Starmer told to his face.

Those at the corporation who misleadingly spliced the US president’s speech, who have automatically deferred to the trans lobby, and who have mechanically taken the side of the Palestinians, did so for the same reason: they believed they were doing the morally right thing. In this new counter-factual reality, a man can get pregnant and a woman can rape someone with ‘her penis’. It matters little if this, or any other esoteric truth they take a fancy to, sounds absurd to normal people. Indeed, the more exclusive the ‘luxury belief’, the better.
