Newly elected Green Party deputy leader Rachel Millward has written to the Home Office objecting to the housing of 600 asylum seekers at Crowborough Army Training Centre.
In a letter co-signed with Wealden Council’s leader, she warned of “major problems,” “safety risks,” and “community tensions” - claiming the government acted in “bad faith” by failing to consult locals.
