I've been looking for vintage demitasse spoons on eBay, to accompany the fine china teacups I got for free of fecebook marketplace. I noticed solid sterling spoons for sale for less than the price in weight for scrap metal. Why? What’s causing the uprisings? What outcomes are possible? What’s it like being jailed in Iran? Zartosht has personal experience with the latter, which he’s channeled into his new comic book DEEV. He also observes that America is becoming more like his former country in alarming ways. Plus: useful vs useless idiots, American vs Iranian communists, “only 3,000,” extremist families, nepotism, learning English in bars, and liberation through painting.

Last task of closing out PaleGray Labs (my old art textile collaboration with Theo Gray) was installing this Shiva Natraj quilt in a friend’s house. There are actually 2 more versions of this but Theo is getting them, as they need new mounting frames.

In other news, I decided to woman up and attempt to take proper care of my (used, via eBay) cashmere/merino sweaters. I just soaked this one in special fancy delicates shampoo and blocked it out per a "how to restore your shrunk fucked up cashmere sweater you'd otherwise get rid of" instructional video. Tomorrow I'll see if it fits again.

It took a few tries, but I finally successfully created the elusive dark chocolate-covered Amaretto-almond-white chocolate ganache-wrapped Amarena cherry TERFfle.

I never even knew this song existed until half an hour ago. It's crazy politically incorrect by today's standards, but the interwebs claims it was a kind of protest song in its time.

This would make a nice greeting card.
