When I refactored the web search in Loops last week, we adopted a new endpoint that doesn't perform remote lookups.
Now that's fixed.
Remote account search is back, and soon you will be able to lookup remote content β¨

It is deliberately not a microblogging platform, there are plenty of other microblogging platforms.
The criticism? I hear it. But we're not backing down from our vision.
