I bought a technical/hiking-style shirt at a big box store for like $20 and it has a little triangle microfiber cloth sewn into the inside of the front below the last button. I first thought this was a silly, unnecessary complication but it turns out that it’s a rather useful and thoughtful addition. I now use it all the time to wipe phone screen, sunglasses, can lids, etc
When you travel to exotic places, periodically share photos with loved ones. This helps you stay connected to them and also helps them trace your steps if you go missing 🤣🤣
Software and browser-only webapps that allow easy import and export of .json files are awesome. I love being able to save and share my work without a host’s server. A rather slick, interoperable way to handle data across devices and applications. #foss
I posted this and then got super super busy with life and summer activities. God has a sense of humor and loves to gently humble me. 😅 View quoted note →
What an interesting read! “Denying people financial privacy—whether through sweeping surveillance programs or restrictions on privacy-protecting technologies—undermines the fabric and freedoms of our families, communities, and nation. The American people and their government should guard zealously people’s right to live private lives and to use technologies that enable them to do so.” View quoted note →
I love Christian radio, and the 12 songs that they play! 😜
Interesting way to think about #bitcoin PoW on a global per capita basis: The Bitcoin network currently has about 1 Zettahash/second and there are 8.23 billion people on earth. That's 125 gigahash/second per person. That's well below even the simplest of home miners. If you run a Bitaxe Gamma (500 GH/s) you're covering the hashpower for 4 people and if you have a Bitaxe Gamma (1.2TH/s) you're providing 10 people's worth of hash power.
The powers of this world really want to stir us up to support unending physical wars, but really, really do not want us to be aware of the ongoing war for our minds and souls. image
If the wizard doesn’t want us to look behind the curtain, we should probably be really interested in looking behind the curtain… 😡 #Epstein #EpsteinDidntKillHimself image
GM, random rant: Frustrating how governments around the world bully us to jump through a multitude of bureaucratic paperwork and licensing hoops to just live our lives and voluntarily exchange with others & constantly loom threats over our heads if we even accidentally err in our tribute payments or adherence to thousands of their Byzantine rules… YET they constantly lie to us, steal from us, misplace billions of dollars, exempt themselves from accountability, unilaterally waste blood and treasure on an unknowable number of ridiculous things we don’t want or consent to, etc It’s not a government of the people if there’s two tiers of justice and accountability. In fact, it seems things are completely inverted from where they should be: the people should be free to live their lives privately without interference but the government should be transparent and restrained. image
