The most annoying part of this word salad is that, as someone who has talked to policy folks in the AI space, I know *exactly* what people said to Trump, which he didn't understand, which got him to spew this utter nonsense.
It's like the dumbest game of "telephone" ever.

Sitting on a train reading this dissent and am just repeatedly stifling the desire to yell "what the actual fuck?" out loud and scaring others in the car. I don't think I've seen a dissent quite this unhinged and unprofessional.

This is, of course, a fascinating thread from Kate asking why Google is effectively cannibalizing its own market for both digital ads on third party properties and search ads, by effectively taking away the incentive to click through to third party sites. I have a theory as to why they're doing it.
