This is important. “Reconsider this word ‘balance.’ Let’s say, for argument’s sake, your end goal is balance. Picture a 100-yard dash where you’ve given the car a 90-yard head start. Watching the news tonight, 2 more mass shootings in the United States being reported on. 338 mass shootings in the US already this year, about half way in. 21,497 deaths from gun violence, or 115 average per day in 2023 already, according to @CTVNews.
