No, I’m not sharing my academic research paper publicly right now because when I extended the olive branch, I was rejected. Conduct your own research. I’m using my research for my upcoming projects. I’ll share the paper when I feel like it. On my time.
People, organizations, and groups in the Bitcoin community had 16 years to make Bitcoin happen. Bitcoin was clearly the people’s money. Peer2peer. You can write your think pieces, blogs, and books. But I already have the answers in my academic research paper, “Bitcoin: The Reality, The Issues, and The Potential”. The are many issues that y’all failed to address or even acknowledge.
To the few of you in the Bitcoin community trying to do what’s best, I see you. Stay consistent and honest. Even if people can’t handle the truth.
Let this be a lesson to many of those in the Bitcoin community: Ego, inconsistency, lack of knowledge, gatekeeping, and hypocrisy won’t get you anywhere far. 🤷‍♀️
Get off the internet and talk to regular people around the world.
Unless people are forced into dire situations such as people living under extreme tyranny, many people are comfortable using the currency they have. Even if it’s not backed by anything.
People in the Bitcoin community can shout “decentralization” and all this other stuff. The average person doesn’t care. They want to spend money including digital currency to buy basic things like groceries. People are hungry. (As a reminder, Bitcoin was designed for *transactions*.)
To be 100% honest, I like my Exodus Card. It’s convenient and it mainly works. Furthermore, USDC is another medium of exchange. It gives me another option. And I like options.
For the record, I have received USDC and bought Solana to swap to USDC.
The Exodus Card made it easy to use USDC at the grocery store. I’m pretty positive I’m the only person (as a consumer) here in Botswana with the card. So I was the first to do it.
