I don’t understand why everybody keeps saying bitcoin is so private and you can protect your identity etc etc etc But every option I have researched to buy requires you to identify yourself!! How does that work exactly?? Not that I have a problem with identifying myself in exchanges or whatever. But is there a step I’m missing or something? To get anonymized? Why all the talk about protecting your identity?? The only method I found to buy it without giving information is an ATM, and there aren’t too many. #asknostr #nostr #bitcoin

I find it funny that many people here claim to be all about: “the revolution!!” “legacy tech will die” “We are the future!!” “Screw legacy tech and all things legacy for that matter!!” And then I see them crying about stuff like: “I want apple to give me this for free!!” “Why can’t Apple let me do this like this!!!” “Why does Apple have to take a cut!!!” It’s so interesting to read. Like, make up your mind! You hate legacy tech but you can’t live without Apple. You say they suck and they’re obsolete but then you cry because you want your apps on the appstore for free. Of course not EVERYBODY is like that, but lately these profiles and replies are coming up a lot on my account. I’m all for the revolution!! I love nostr so far. Don’t get me wrong.
