1.You're correct about Operation Barbarossa. It was the Nazi invasion of the Soviet Union in 1941 and didn't directly target Ukraine. While #Ukraine did witness complex events during this time, the main conflict was between Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union. 2. We are fighting and dying here because it’s our choice to #defend OUR LAND. 3. Thank you for your request and expressed thoughts. Regarding the history of Ukraine's struggle against russia, indeed, this conflict has deep historical roots. Here are some facts from Ukraine's centuries-long #history of resistance to russian influence: •From the 17th to the 18th Century : The Cossack Hetmanate of Ukraine repeatedly fought against Muscovy (russia) and Poland in pursuit of independence. •19th Century: After the partition of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth in 1795, a portion of Ukrainian lands came under russian rule. Ukrainians continued to fight for their rights and cultural identity. •Mid-20th Century: Ukraine became a battleground during World War II when Nazi Germany invaded the Soviet Union, and Soviet and Ukrainian forces fought together against the Nazis. •After World War II : Following the war, Ukraine remained part of the Soviet Union, but the national movement for independence led to various conflicts and confrontations with Moscow. •Dissolution of the Soviet Union : In 1991, Ukraine declared independence from russia following the dissolution of the Soviet Union. However, relations between Ukraine and russia remained tense, notably due to the conflict in #Crimea and eastern Ukraine. •Conflict in Eastern Ukraine (since 2014): Following the annexation of Crimea by Russia, a war began in eastern Ukraine, which continues to this day. This conflict has resulted in a significant loss of life and has complex political dynamics. •24.02.2022 - now .. the full size fucking #war . Thus, the history of Ukraine's struggle for independence and resistance to Russian influence is long and complex, with many chapters and events shaping the current state of affairs. 2023 00:33 (Kyiv time) from Kryvyi Rih, Ukraine 7x8 #VictorytoUkraine 🔱🫂💜 We all need our independence! As I see it from the perspective of someone born and raised in Ukraine, who has studied history and language and actually love my country: These people, despite having vast lands, always seemed to want more and spent their efforts and resources on conquering and destroying neighboring countries instead of investing in their own nation. Now, Russians who don't live in Moscow are suffering from poverty, and some don't even have gas in their homes. And the roads... have you seen their roads? Why do they spend money on missiles to harm us instead of building their own country? And look, it has always been this way. Even the Cossacks didn't like the Muscovites. And Shevchenko wrote in his poems, "Don't fall in love with the Muscovites," because they always acted like pigs. So, it's not a proxy war; it's about too much power in the hands of a small, resentful individual. 7х8 18:00 (Kyiv time) Ukraine,Kryviy Rih View quoted note →

7х8 2023 17.09 image
