When we were hiking through Connecticut, a tropical storm hit, flooding the Appalachian Trail. A couple who owned a restaurant insisted that we take shelter in their barn for the night. We gladly obliged.
It comes in under 3GB. I usually create notes in Drafts and move them to Obsidian on my MacBook at the end of the day. Forget trying to access my info on mobile. #Obsidian can be impossible to get to it.4/4
Then it will kind of function until the next time I edit or add a bunch of notes, then it's back to the same behavior. I don't have anything in my vault but markdown documents and images - no PDFs, no unsupported documents. My vault isn't huge. 3/4
It has never worked consistently on a mobile device for me. #Obsidian opens and crashes multiple times while trying to sync. The only way I can get it to work is to plug it in to power, leave #Obsidian open on the home screen and just walk away for an hour or two. 2/4
I have evangelized for #Obsidian, encouraging people to pay for sync and become Catalyst supporters. I've written dozens of blog posts and fielded questions about the app from all over the world. It would just be nice to be able to use it in iOS before I die. 1/4
I stopped by the library in the town I'm visiting to use the Internet for a few minutes. There is one other gentleman in the computer area. He is using one of the library's devices to play video poker at full volume and providing narrative commentary on how he is doing.
