If you have a risk register, and your organization does not have an SBOM for your built apps, the lack of an SBOM goes in your risk register. If you don't have a risk register, make one, and add your lack of SBOMs to it.

I do this ish for a living, I am an AI developer and researcher, and *I* don’t fully understand the security implications. What hope do regular users have?
I wrote a book review of "Geopolitics at the Internet’s Core" by Fiona Alexander, Laura DeNardis, Ph.D., Nanette Levinson, and Francesca Musiani. It initially seems to be a dense technical history of Internet Protocol—that constellation of technical specifications and social agreements that makes the internet work. But this would be a profound misreading.
What Alexander, DeNardis, Levinson, and Musiani have actually written is something far more elegiac: a cenotaph for a bygone era of consensus and freedom, created by the nerds who midwifed the internet into existence.
I have the new AirPods Pro 3 - and they're awful in airplane cabins at pressure. There's a widely reported squealing problem as soon as ascent and pressurization happens - does anyone know when/if Apple will acknowledge this?
